The pilot batch of General Assistant – Furniture and Fittings Installation was assessed by the Master Assessor from FFSC on 29th April 2022. The training batch is being conducted by the Hyfurn Skill Training Society (HSTS) which was powered by FFSC’s Industry partner, Hyfurn.
The assessment session was conducted in a hybrid mode with remote monitoring by the FFSC Team.
The practical assessment was conducted through remote proctoring where the candidates were given a test project for assembling followed by a viva session by the Master Assessor.

The ‘Adarsh Gram Skill Camp’ is FFSC and SANKALP’s unique initiative for skill certification through training and orientation with an added element of skill competitions to elevate aspiration value for the trainees.
The 2nd Skill Camp completed in the Dhaneru Village, Bikaner District which saw the participation of 120 woodworking professionals from 7th – 20th January 2022.
FFSC plans to certify 3000 woodworking professionals from 25 Adarsh Grams in 5 States which have been selected under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY).

The 18th Batch of Training of Assessors (ToA) was done in the Job Role of Assistant Carpenter from 14th to 19th December 2021 at Hettich Poddar Wood Working Institute in Faridabad
Congratulations to the new Assessors who have been certified by FFSC.
It is of utmost importance to have quality assessors capable of validating the skill sets of candidates in several domains.
FFSC focuses on bringing more experts from the Industry to be a part of the skill ecosystem as Assessors.

‘Adarsh Gram Skill Camp’ is organised by SANKALP under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to celebrate Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav.
Adarsh Gram Skill Camp will facilitate RPL Certification in the Job Role of Assistant Carpenter which will be followed by Adarsh Gram Skill Competition in which Prizes worth INR 100000 will be given to the participants.
