Meri Skill Meri Pehchaan (MSMP) in partnership with IEIA
Meri Skill Meri Pehchaan (MSMP) is a skill mapping and certification program for the existing workforce in the furniture and fittings sector.
FFSC partnered with Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) to design and implement a customized training program for the skilled and semi-skilled workforce involved in the exhibitions organized by IEIA.
The pilot phase at IndiaWood 2022 saw the first batch of 20 candidates being trained and assessed about the best practices for the setup operations.

The ‘Adarsh Gram Skill Camp’ is FFSC and SANKALP’s unique initiative for skill certification through training and orientation with an added element of skill competitions to elevate aspiration value for the trainees
FFSC plans to certify 3000 woodworking professionals from 25 Adarsh Grams in 5 States which have been selected under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY).

‘Udhne Do’ Program for Jail Inmates in Maharashtra
FFSC initiated the “उड़ने दो” program of the Maharashtra State Skill Development Society in the Nasik and Aurangabad Central Jail.
The program aims to help the prisoners by upskilling them and providing skill certificates to get better jobs for themselves after their release.
The training program was Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in the Assistant Carpenter job roles that span two days. FFSC has introduced the elements of modular furniture training with the support of industry partners.
Training for 50 candidates was completed in the 2 jails of Maharashtra

Pilot Batch of General Assistant commenced by Hyfurn Skill Training Society (HSTS)
The skilling program Congratulations to all the learners and the Hyfurn Skill Training Society (HSTS) for starting the first batch of General Assistant, Furniture and Fittings Installation (NSQF Level 2).
The skilling program is industry-funded and is designed to provide apprenticeship-linked training and jobs.

RPL 4 and 5 Projects underway targetting more than 5300 skilled professionals
FFSC is partnering with its industry partners to certify their workforce with prior experience under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program.
So far more than 5019 woodworking professionals from West Bengal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka have been certified.
FFSC is implementing the program with the crucial support of industry partners like Ergoflex, Hettich Group, Hippo Stores, I.EVO, Livspace, M.B. Industries, Narsi Group, Radheyshyam Laminates and Decors Pvt Ltd, Ruby Construction, STS Realtor and Decor Pvt Ltd and Urban Company.
