It has 75 Member countries and regions,all working with youth, educators, governments, and industries to help prepare the workforce and talent of today for the jobs of the future.
The Competition took place in Kazan from 22 - 27 August 2019. The 45th WorldSkills Competition bought together more than 1,600 young professionals representing more than 60 countries in over 56 skills. The event was held at the KAZAN EXPO International Exhibition Centre where more than 1,500 Experts evaluated the Competitors’ work. India Participated in 44 trades with 48 competitors and 100 supporting partners at WorldSkills Competition – Kazan, 2019 and stood at 13th position with one gold, one silver, two bronze and 18 medallions of excellence. Under Building and Construction Trades, India participated in Cabinet Making and Joinery trades.
Mr. Vikash Kumar Naga represented Team India in ‘Joinery’ during the WorldSkills Kazan 2019.
Mr. Kesar Singh Rajput represented Team India in ‘Cabinet Making’ during the WorldSkills Kazan 2019.
