Any person who fulfils the eligibility criteria for Trainers defined by FFSC (covering educational qualification for each domain job and relevant industry experience) can become a trainer. Post eligibility match, the trainer must undergo the ToT program which is conducted by FFSC on the relevant domain job roles.
Training of Trainers (ToT) is a program for the development of training delivery skills of those who wish to become trainers in the sector of their preference and aligns them with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
Existing industry experts can be recognized as Trainers by attending assessment sessions organized by FFSC. Trainers need to register on the Skill India Portal.

Training of Assessors (ToA) is a program organized by FFSC which is dedicated for the assessors in the skill eco-system. A ToA model for a new assessor covers orientation and assessment on Domain skills and Assessment skills within a period of 6 days.

The organization is responsible for conducting an assessment of an approved batch and assigned to the assessor. The assessment agent is assigned by the SPOC of the sector skill council and the assessor uploads results on the portal after the assessment is completed. The assessment agency is also called AA.
The Assessment Agency will be responsible for ensuring correct result upload by the assessor on the assessor Portal leading to minimum scope of human error. Post the result is uploaded by the assessor, the assessment agency shall verify candidate result including correct marks upload, verifying relevant fields not left blank or mismatched etc. In situations, wherein incorrect data is uploaded, and the results approved by the Sector Skill Council, the assessment agency shall be primarily considered responsible.

The User Manual for Training Provider (TP) provides an information on how an organization can register itself as Training Provider (TP) on Skill India Portal. It further enables Training Provider to get connected to various Schemes/Models available on the portal either through Accreditation & Affiliation or Non-Accreditation & Affiliation process for running NSQF aligned Job roles or courses.
