FFSC organized the Training of the Master Trainers (ToMT) under PM Vishwakarma which was held from 18th to 22nd January 2024 at NAC Hyderabad. A total of 1900+ candidates were assessed in UP under the ODOP (One District One Product) which aims to encourage such indigenous and specialized products and crafts in UP that are found nowhere else and VSSY (Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana) focus on vocational training and skill development, this program plays a crucial role in enhancing employability and improving the socio-economic conditions of workers.
A total of 137 Skill verification and 67 basic training assessment done by Team FFSC for PM Vishwakarma in various states such as Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka , Gujarat, and Assam.

FFSC organized the Master trainer training for PM Vishwakarma trainers was held in NIESBUD, Noida, and Guwahati, Assam. More than 40+ employees of these companies participated in the session. The session covered essential topics, including health and safety, the production process, and the use of various tools, while also imparting a deeper understanding of the skill ecosystem and career progression path.
Under the PMKVY 4.0 - RPL Type-3 scheme, we have successfully enrolled over 3900+ candidates who are directly employed by employers or their contractual staff out of this 2100+ candidates are certified. This demonstrates the program's effectiveness in reaching and engaging a diverse pool of individuals with pre-existing skills.

The ODOP scheme of Uttar Pradesh promotes one unique product or craft from each district, providing financial, technical, and marketing assistance to artisans and entrepreneurs. ODOP Skill Development and Tool Kit Distribution Scheme provides training and tool kits to artisans and workers in the ODOP sector, helping to improve their skills and productivity.
Under this scheme, FFSC has assessed 100 candidates, out of which 86 candidates are certified.
FFSC has initiated the Short-term training (STT) program for 60 students at Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, funded by the Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN).
FFSC aims to empower the youth by providing them with skill development training and creating employment opportunities, thereby enhancing their employability.
The training program is under the Assistant Carpenter (NSQF Level 3) job role that spanned 420 hours.
Under the PMKVY 4.0 - RPL Type-3 scheme, we have successfully enrolled over 3700 candidates who are directly employed by employers or their contractual staff out of this 900+ candidates are certified and rest are being certified. Under PMKVY 4.0 STT program, FFSC has conducted the assessment of 10 candidates, where HETTICH PODDAR WOODWORKING INSTITUTE has trained these candidates.
Under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) scheme, we have successfully conducted assessments of 14 candidates in Jaunpur Jail. This process ensures that individuals with newly acquired skills receive formal recognition and certification, ultimately enhancing their employability prospects.
Under the PMKVY 4.0 - RPL Type-3 scheme, we have successfully enrolled over 3500 candidates who are directly employed by employers or their contractual staff. This demonstrates the program's effectiveness in reaching and engaging a diverse pool of individuals with pre-existing skills.
In collaboration with the University Grants Commission (UGC), we have certified 12 candidates from G.S Mandal's Maharashtra Institute of Technology in the Assistant Interior Designer job role. The Assistant Project Manager is the person who drives a project forward, managing stakeholder engagement and ensuring that the project stays within budget and is completed on time.
It's a part-time 15 weeks or full-time 60 hours educational curriculum along with additional eight weeks of practical on-site training with any Professional Architects / Interior Designers / Interior contractors / Civil contractors’ office & site.

It's a part-time 15 weeks or full-time 60 hours educational curriculum along with additional eight weeks of practical on-site training with any Professional Architects / Interior Designers / Interior contractors / Civil contractors’ office & site.

The certificate distribution for the students was held during the ACETECH exhibition in Mumbai at the Narsi Group’s pavilion.
FFSC has done the assessment for the Jail inmates in Chennai, Tamil Nādu. They got the training by Sri Sri Rural Development Programme Trust, Art of Living International Center, Bangalore for the job role Lead Carpenter - Wooden Furniture - (FFS/Q0104).
The program aims to help the prisoners by skilling them to learn woodworking and providing them with a better understanding of furniture & its allied industry and providing skill certificates to get better jobs for themselves after their release.

Furniture & Fittings Skill Council (FFSC), in collaboration with New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), has started the Upskilling Programme to train and access 3000 carpenters of Delhi in NDMC’s area. 1300+ candidates have benefitted from this program so far. Candidates who are working for ITPO, New Parliament Building, and other projects along with individuals are trained and certified in this program.
The project NIPUN, National Initiative for Promoting Upskilling of Nirman workers (NIPUN), is an initiative of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA) under its flagship scheme of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM)
FFSC has initiated the 'Skill Conscious Employer Program' among its industry partners.
The program aims for skill certification of the existing workforce through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) under the Program.
The program helps the existing woodworkers by upskilling them and providing them with a better understanding of furniture & its allied industry. 450+ candidates have benefitted from this program so far.

FFSC partnered with New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) to certify the workforce under "Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Program for Skill Empowerment in NDMC Areas"
The program aims to help the existing woodworkers of NDMC areas by upskilling them and providing skill certificates to get better understanding about the furniture & its allied industry.
The training program was under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in the Assistant Carpenter job roles that spanned for 12 hours.

The ‘Adarsh Gram Skill Camp’ is FFSC and SANKALP’s unique initiative for skill certification through training and orientation with an added element of skill competitions to elevate aspiration value for the trainees.
FFSC plans to certify 3000 woodworking professionals from 25 Adarsh Grams in 5 States which have been selected under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY).

55 Workshops done on “Prevention of Hazardous Cleaning of Sewers and Septic Tanks” by FFSC funded by National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
The participants were made aware about different provisions of MS Acts and Rules along with the ways of prevention of hazardous cleaning of sewers and septic tanks.
