The VSSY scheme of Uttar Pradesh promotes one unique product or craft from each district, providing financial, technical, and marketing assistance to artisans and entrepreneurs. VSSY Skill Development and Tool Kit Distribution Scheme provides training and tool kits to artisans and workers in the furniture sector, helping to improve their skills and productivity. Under this scheme, FFSC has assessed 200 candidates in the month of October 2024.
The PM Vishwakarma scheme aims to assess and certify the skill sets of traditional craftsmen, under this scheme, we have successfully assessed 2,55,996 candidates on Day 0 and 2,14,899 candidates on Day 6 assessment till October 2024.
In Oct 2024, we have certified 116 trainers cum assessors under PM Vishwakarma Scheme totaling to 1254 trainers cum assessors under PM Vishwakarma Scheme.
Under the PMKVY 4.0 STT program, FFSC has conducted the assessment of 61 candidates.

RPL: Under the PMKVY 4.0 - RPL Type-3 scheme, we have successfully assessed over 64 candidates who were trained by the NSDC’s Training Partner.
STT: Under PMKVY 4.0 STT program, FFSC has conducted the assessment of 50 candidates.
The ODOP scheme of Uttar Pradesh promotes one unique product or craft from each district, providing financial, technical, and marketing assistance to artisans and entrepreneurs. ODOP Skill Development and Tool Kit Distribution Scheme provides training and tool kits to artisans and workers in the ODOP sector, helping to improve their skills and productivity.
Under this scheme, FFSC has assessed 112 candidates out of which 110 candidates are certified.
The PM Vishwakarma scheme aims to assess and certify the skill sets of traditional craftsmen, under this scheme, we have successfully assessed 22447 candidates on Day 0 and 18086 candidates on Day 6 assessment in May 2024.
In May 2024, we have certified 217 trainers cum assessors under PM Vishwakarma Scheme
Under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) scheme, we have successfully conducted assessments of 9 candidates. This process ensures that individuals with newly acquired skills receive formal recognition and certification, ultimately enhancing their employability prospects.
The PM Vishwakarma scheme aims to assess and certify the skill sets of traditional craftsmen, under this scheme, we have successfully assessed 13420 candidates on Day 0 and 9601 candidates on Day 6 assessment in April 2024.
A total of 250+ trainers were trained under the PMKVY Scheme. The Trainer were given online training under the job role like Carpenter/Assistant Carpenter & Multipurpose Assistant- Furniture Production and Installation, Assistant Interior Designer, Multipurpose Draughtsperson (Design and Build and Draughtsperson (Interior Design). The training gave information about the transition of carpentry in India, the differences between traditional hand tools and power tools for various carpentry operations and much more.

The three-day training programme covers topics such as the PM Vishwakarma Scheme overview, digital literacy, domain knowledge, and assessment overview, many others.
More than 1200+ Trainers & Assessors have been certified so far through these sessions increasing the training capacity across districts.
A total of 8500+ candidates were assessed in UP under the ODOP (One District One Product) which aims to encourage such indigenous and specialized products and crafts in UP that are found nowhere else and VSSY (Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana) focus on vocational training and skill development, this program plays a crucial role in enhancing employability and improving the socio-economic conditions of workers.

FFSC successfully conducted a training session at Pidilite Woodworking and Plumbing (PWP) ITI Kuber Nagar, Ahmedabad. This training was supported by Greenply Foundation, one of our valued partners. The training provided skill orientation to the existing skilled workers from the woodworking industry.
The participants were enthusiastic and eager to learn from the Trainer.

70th Batch of Training of trainers done under the job roles L2 and L3- Interior was conducted.
71st Batch of training of trainers done under the Job Roles Assistant Carpenter & General Assistant. A total of 13 trainers were certified by FFSC.
22nd Batch of training of Assessors done under the Job Roles Assistant Carpenter & General Assistant. A total of 5 candidates were certified by FFSC.
As part of the Furniture Skills Global Conclave, FFSC, in collaboration with the KIET Group of Institutions, organized a 'Modular Furniture Making Workshop' at the Centre for Advanced Woodworking on 16th September 2021.
The workshop focused on the theme of 'Design-Build-Install' to expose the students to the detailed process of Modular Furniture Making.
The 'Centre of Advanced woodworking (CAW)' at KIET has highly automated working machinery and software to mitigate the requirements of the furniture industry in terms of technology and trained workforce.
FFSC will be organizing more workshops to highlight the various occupations in the Industry.
