The Skilled India Talk Show is an initiative by the Furniture & Fittings Skill Council of India in their pursuit to Bridge the gap between Learning & Livelihood and build a more sustainable Skilling Ecosystem for the Interiors, Furniture & Allied Industry.
It is a platform where the Key Beneficiaries of the Skilling Ecosystem, i.e. Industry, Training Institutions and Trainees come together. As the name suggests, Skilled Leaders from the Industry collaborate to share knowledge and exchange ideas in order to build a more competitive Indian Industry.
The Skilled India Talk Show was launched during the ABID Interiors 2020 exhibition in the city of Joy, Kolkata and was supported wholeheartedly by the industry.
In a first of its kind event, highlighting the Career Opportunities in the Industry through the Power of Right Skills, was held on 17th Feb 2020 in Pune at the Times & Trends Academy.
The action-packed day witnessed Industry Experts, Veterans & Skill Ambassadors from diverse backgrounds like Design, Architecture, Furniture Manufacturing, CAD-CAM Technology, Machines & Hand Tools, etc. sharing their knowledge & experience
Participants of the event included Interior Design Students, Industry Professionals, Academia, Industry Partners and more. Participation is strictly by Registration to maintain the Spirit & Standards of the event.
Furniture & Fittings Skill Council (FFSC) is a Not-for-Profit organization, registered under societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.
